More about Mary L.R. Jones

Mary Jones is a Personal Coach (Coaches Training Institute), and Advanced Practitioner and Trainer of EFT through the AMT.

She has been using EFT since 2001, has been an AMT practitioner since 2002, a trainer since 2004 and has passed both EFT-CC and EFT-ADV examinations.

In addition, Mary is a licensed NLP Practitioner and EmoTrance Practitioner and since May 2005 is the UK's first Attractor Field Technique Practitioner, having trained personally with Dr Kurt Ebert.

She also holds a degree in Psychology from Durham University and a Masters in Information Systems.

Previously she spent 13 years in industry as a research and development manager.  In that time she was closely involved in understanding human behaviour and designing technology to meet customer's needs, a role that included national and international publishing and speaking.

Mary specialises in the use of EFT, and more recently AFT, to help people pursue their coaching goals. She is author of "The EFT Coach", a guide for professional coaches and EFT Practitioners - which has been adopted as a standard reading text by the Certified Energy Coach Program.

Mary is currently working on her next book, to be entitled "Coach Yourself with EFT" designed for the beginning self-help user. She says, "Although EFT is an easy technique to learn, the beginner can find it less than obvious how to go about applying it to everyday issues. I want people to have something they can pick up and use really easily, and show them how to start removing the blocks to their own success straightaway. I realise not everyone can afford to hire a coach to help them, but as a coach I also believe in people empowering themselves to move forward in life - I'm hoping this new book will bridge that gap."

Mary is active in the wider EFT community, moderating two EFT Forums, answering questions from EFT users, and more recently has taken over moderation of an AFT Forum.

As well as being a trainer with the AMT, delivering practitioner level trainings, Mary also writes her own training workshops. She is currently working on a "Coaching Practitioner" training based on her book and designed to help coaches and practitioners use EFT effectively within coaching.
